Why is it that most shady businesses like this one or this one have numbers in their web addresses?

apparently these are ponzi schemes. Meaning very few people will get money and the friends of those who caught on early in the scheme will lose out on the big bucks.

I don’t know about the P2P but I figured out the numbers in Crazy Fox ads. They used different web addresses and 800 numbers for every ad to be able to track the response every ad gets.
