		<description>sounds good, but so far in my experience the problem with insanity (in the sense you're talking about it) has been its un-repeatability, as opposed to reason (not that the latter always works either). or something like that. however, this might be because we merely don't have enough practice in being insane. 

also, are you sure if it's insanity, what you're talking about, as opposed to, say, using reason with an uncommon utility function? i mean even in logical decision making you make a decision in the face of uncertainty and hope for the best. now it seems to me given the freedom to chose a utility function it may be possible to explain any kind of decision making as rational.</description>
