NPR totally rules

Recently, I had a technical problem with NPR’s website. I emailed them and today - after three days - the product manager of that department personally got back to me and said he is working on fixing it. I have not had a remotely similar experience with Apple, Google and a few other companies, and I am not even paying them (directly) for their services.

Good products and services. What more can you ask for from a company?

On the other hand, I was on the phone with Verizon for 2.5 hours to get them to stop charging me for our old Dartmoor address.
With Dell, I had 1.5 hours of waiting time just so they could find our company warranty.

Google, Apple, and NPR seem to understand the nature of consumer preference and efficient service moreso than most other companies. Even if your not a consumer of their product, they still care (or make it seem like they do) about your opinions.
